Reubenn Rennie's double helped Toulouse to a 24-12 Super League victory over Castleford as they put together back-to-back wins at the start of the campaign.
The hosts trailed 12-10 at the break, but eventually prevailed at Stade Ernest-Wallon, scoring four tries to two to condemn the visitors to a second successive defeat.
Mathieu Jussaume got the hosts off to a fast start when he touched down inside three minutes after Rennie's fine line-break set up the opportunity.
Cesar Rouge missed with his conversion attempt, and he was made to pay within four minutes when Krystian Mapapalangi climbed highest in pursuit of scrum-half Tom Weaver's kick and came down with the ball to level before the half-back added the two points to make it 6-4 to the visitors.
The hosts regained the lead in the 17th minute when Rennie went over in the corner after Rouge had punched a hole in the Tigers defence and then kicked the conversion.
Seconds after being denied by Oliver Ashall-Bott, Castleford winger Jason Qareqare dived over in the corner to level it and Weaver was unfortunate to see his kick came back off the post, although he did put his side 12-10 ahead four minutes before the break with a penalty from in front of the posts.
The French side regained the lead nine minutes into the second half when, after a successful captain's challenge had handed them the ball back, it was spun out from the base of the scrum and Benjamin Laguerre forced himself over in the corner, handing Rouge a difficult kick from the touchline which he dispatched with aplomb.
They extended their advantage after 62 minutes when Ashall-Bott turned defence into attack and Rennie eventually forced his way across the line before Rouge made it 22-12, and Chris Atkin's late yellow card and the Rouge penalty which followed it sealed victory.
